Wild Mouse Goes Through “Rehab” After Eating Cannabis Plant
A mouse in New Brunswick, Canada, got “stoned” after nibbling on cannabis leaves at a farm. Colin Sullivan noticed the mouse stealing leaves for two days before it passed out, lying on its back amid the plants. After being captured and placed in a cage to “detox,” the mouse recovered and was released back into the wild six days later. Sullivan shared the humorous experience on Facebook, calling it a “Rodent to Redemption” story, and the post went viral, with over 461,000 shares and plenty of jokes. Cannabis has been legal in New Brunswick since 2018, with regulations in place for responsible use.
